FCB - What do you want to change today? from HOMEMBALA on Vimeo.

This was really cool, love the line work. I wasn't really sure what it was for at first, then I looked it up,  great motion graphics work!

Way To The Nautilus from EQUILOUD. on Vimeo.

Only in black in white but manages to be a powerful motion graphic. Such great, fluid movement in this one.

Elsinore recently released two music videos (I got to be an extra in the art of Pulling, hidden among all the running extras at 3:03!) but thought it was fun to see a local band releasing a wide range of videos. Ultraviolence is definitely more motion graphics heavy, just interesting to see the different feel you get from each.

This was a really interesting and mesmerizing video, loved the music too, it was very soothing! I wouldn't even know where to start to create such intricate shapes, but I hope to learn someday.

iphone- diorama from Mike Ko on Vimeo.

This is really cool and clever! I can see how it would take 3 months to create this short video, would probably take me a lifetime, but I love it!

Jose Mendez Reel 2014 from Jose Miguel Méndez on Vimeo.

Thought this was a really cool demo reel, especially love that it included live video with animation, it adds another texture to the demo that I really enjoy. Very creative!

taste it from Ronda on Vimeo.

Cute little animation, lots of vibrant colors and tons of motion going on in this video. It seems like everything is moving in some subtle way, which is cool.

Found this video that visually summarizes characters from famous movies scenes. I thought this video was adorable and had clever transitions from one movie to the next. It kept my interest and had me guessing which movies each scene was from.

Ford WORKDAY from Gravity on Vimeo.

I love how this ad combined flat looking graphics with video to make an awesome motion sequence. The pops of colors really make this stand out, so you pay attention! The distressed type and boldness really fits with the feeling of the ad and the character of this truck.

8 Women Title Sequence from SVA BFA Design on Vimeo.

I really liked the colors used in this title sequence. The motion was simple but effective, and I thought the repetition used near the end with the head nodding fit the music really well!

CRAZY ENOUGH - Title Sequence from Jr.canest on Vimeo.

This opening title sequence was made by a film student and I thought the motion fits the music and energy beautifully. It really directs the eye exactly where to look. Just goes to show you how great you can make circles and squares jumping all over the screen look!

Terminix TV Spot: Health from SURFACE 51 on Vimeo.

I was privileged to see this series of campaigns from Surface 51 being worked on during the Studio Tour with CUDO last year. Though the motion is simple, it's got a big impact and and viewing this on the tour was one of the reasons I was inspired to take this class! There's a whole series if you want to check out the rest, maybe you even saw them on TV!

Loving the illustrated/sketching style for this motion graphic. I like that it incorporates real video along with animations. Plus there's learning! A perfect combo. I think the sound effects add a perfect other layer to the video without overtaking it.

Social Media 2013

In my last job, my boss used this video to highlight to store managers the scope and growth of social media. I really think it does a great job of keeping the viewer engaged and sharing information in a clean, modern way. The graphics, along with the music, convey energy and youth, and I love the way the designer used the look of social media platforms to convey information.
